Gan-ya Ben-gur Akselrod began her musical education playing cello, piano and clarinet. She is the 1st prize winner of the Hilde Zadek competition in Vienna and has performed at Theater an der Wien, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Komische Oper Berlin, Staatsoper Stuttgart, Théâtre du Capitole, the Israeli Opera, Glyndebourne Festival, Aix-en-Provence Festival, Ravinia Festival, Carnegie Hall and more.
Since 2018 Gan-ya is also a soloist on the acclaimed "World of Hans Zimmer" International Tour and is serving as a Professor at the prestigious PPCM Vocal Program of Graz University.
